I manicure my front yard
I care about the wheels of my car
I even polish the chrome on my bike
I wear the clothes that flatter
I make sure my hair is styled
I check myself twice before walking out the door
I am careful about what I say
I don’t want to sound dumb
I work hard at being impressive
If it is seen, it matters
this much I know
so, I hide what embarrasses
Yet…
You don’t care how much I have
You don’t fuss about how I look
You don’t need to be impressed
Because
You know
You see
You love
even
the back-side
