 PRAY
Dear God,
I am afraid.
A lot.
I have been afraid for a long time.
I don’t know what the future holds.
I can’t control it.
Sometimes when I’m afraid, I don’t want to feel anything.
See the problem?
I need help.
Give me the patience and courage
to do a full inventory of my fears.
Help me to see with clarity
what has been getting in the way
of living a sane and sober life.
Amen.
