Just starting to look for some help?

It is our custom to bless people who are starting to look for help. We know it is not easy. It’s scary. You don’t really know what it will be like. But if you are sick and tired of being sick and tired, it is a sane decision. And that counts for a lot. We hope the options you find here will be helpful.

We need to emphasize that we do NOT maintain a national database of different kinds of resources. But we do have some experience, strength and hope to share about the first steps in getting help:

  • Asking for Help by Dale and Juanita Ryan
  • Interviews with Three People Who Asked for Help
  • Finding a Support Group
  • Finding a Therapist
  • Finding a Church
  • Finding a Treatment Program
  • Hotlines
