 PRAY
Dear God,
Could we just skip this part?
It’s scary and I feel really bad about this part.
I know there is important information here about me.
About my defects of character.
About how I do relationships.
I know that I need clarity about my defects of character
and that some of those defects will be easier to see after doing this work.
Help me to stay engaged in the process
even when it doesn’t feel good.
Remind me that taking inventory is only a step in a larger process.
Inventory doesn’t fix things
but it gives clarity about what needs to be fixed.
And that clarity is a huge gift.
Thank you.
Amen.
